Nana Brobbey’s Biography!
On a beautiful bright Monday 10th May 1976, a handsome, talented and spiritual son was born to the late Mr. Joseph Kwadwo Dwomoh and Mrs. Juliet Serwa.
They named this son, Nana Brobbey (Alias, Bobo Shanti); He had his earlier education in Nsutu S. D. A. primary school and attended his junior secondary school at Dakpema, in the northern part of the country (Tamale).
His senior secondary was a struggle but he managed to finish it in Nsutaman, in the Ashanti region. Music has been the soul of his heart from birth. Why? Because he was born in a poor family but always determined to understand what it takes for a single mother to take care of eight children on her own.
His beautiful mother used to sing sorrowful and inspired songs while preparing food at the kitchen and the sweet sad voice that he heard, most times inspired him to become a musician; for music is life as life is music. He always says: “comfort is leadership” and always chooses hope over fear, unity over division, and love over hate.
Sometimes life becomes so difficult that what to eat or to drink becomes a problem; but if you lift up your head unto God (Jah) and put your dreams into practice, you will always make it. He calls himself the youth ambassador. Why? because child neglect, rape, killing of children and child abuse is his concern and top priority to tackle. He hopes that one day he will represent the ghetto youth, for badness is out of style (blessed).
